Sandra Lujan, 55, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on February 11, 2017. She entered this world on October 10, 1961 in Belcourt, ND, born to John and Irene Delorme. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Lujan and Courtney Lujan; son, Phillip Lujan; mother, Irene Delorme; grandchildren, Jaylee Jojola, Adam Jojola, and Scarlette Contreras; sisters, Debbie Delorme, Mary Delorme, Carol Swaine, Ramona Delorme, Annette Delorme; brothers, Patrick Delorme, Charles Delorme, and Jesse Delorme; family member, Frank Lujan; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Sandy was preceeded in death by her father, John Delorme; brother, John Delorme Jr.; and Godsons, MiQuel Belgarde and Keith Abeita.
Sandy was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sandy was born in Belcourt, ND and is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribe. She later moved to Albuquerque, NM where she attended the University of New Mexico and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1987. She spent most of her professional career working in various sectors for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Sandy loved her children more than anything in the world. She loved her grandchildren just as much. She taught her children how to love fiercely and unconditionally. She was patient and compassionate, understanding and uplifting. She always had a smile on her face and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
