Sandra Lee Colvard, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on July 13, 2012. She was born October 14, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late Sol and Judith (Shlivek) Bunes. Sandra retired from Indianapolis Public Schools as the Curriculum Resource Director.
She was a member of Indiana Network of Women Administrator and Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Sandra received her B.S in Elementary Education from the University of Evansville, her M.S. and Ph.D. in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She is survived by her husband Cyril Colvard whom she married on June 19, 1997, daughters: Joanna Richards and Jessica Richards Rosati and brother Ivan Paul.
