Sandra M. Briggs, 57, of Galien, Michigan, died June 8, 2006, at Lakeland Hospital, Niles, Michigan.Sandra was born May 18, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana to Lewis J. and Lillie Mae (Ender) Lambert. She graduated from Galien High School in 1968. Sandra was employed by Lakeland Hospital, Niles and was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Galien. She enjoyed quilting, and collecting Clowns, Angels and Lighthouses.
Sandra is survived by her mother, Lillie Mae Lambert of Galien; sisters and brother, Joyce (Jim) McClaran of Galien; Lewis (Betty) Lambert of Galien; Nancy (Matthew) Bradley of Buchanan, Michigan; Diane Lambert (Kevin Beadles) of LaPorte, Indiana; and Evelyn (Timothy) Freehling of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sandra was preceded in death by her infant son, Adam Lee in 1983 and her father Lewis in 1969.
