COON, Samuel GAge 63, passed away at his home on September 27, 2015. Sam was born on March 10, 1952 in Battle Creek, the son of the late Paul and Beulah (Huntington) Coon. He was retired from Humphery Products of Kalamazoo.
Sam enjoyed anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, working on cars, or sitting on the deck meditating on the blessings of life. He was a family man; he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Sam is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Brenda; their children, Kimberly (Donald) Birdsall of Battle Creek, Michelle Selbee of Scotts, and Shawn (Jennifer) Coon of Battle Creek; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also, surviving are his brother, David Coon and sister, Barbara McNese; his aunt, Theresa Huntington; and special friend, Les Selbee.
