Albany – Samual Lawrence Rabenburg, 25, of Davis Avenue died Saturday, November 03, 2018, at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Royal Oak, MI, he was son of Rosemarie Stencel Rabenburg and the late Lee Harold Rabenburg and husband of 3 years to Alysha Christopher Rabenburg. He grew up in North Greenbush and has resided in Albany for the past 3 years with his wife and 2 children and was a 2011 graduate of Columbia High School.

Sam was a tattoo artist for 7 years. He went from place to place as none seemed to fit him properly. He had finally found a “home” at Needlewurks Body Piercing and Tattoo shop in Saratoga Springs. Sam was a member of the East Greenbush Masonic Temple and the Albany Ancient Order of Hibernians. He enjoyed biking, skateboarding, Kendamas and was learning to play golf. Sam was an artist at heart and enjoyed art in all forms. Art brought him peace of mind and had given him opportunities to meet friends all over the country. Sam was a unique soul that everyone who he had met throughout his years felt this sense of comfort in. Sam wanted everyone to feel like they had someone in this world because he never wanted anyone to feel alone. He loved his family more than life itself and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He told anyone who would listen how “hot” his wife was and how much he adored her. Sam may not be here in physical form so on behalf of his wife she wanted everyone to know
just how much Sam cared about every single person he had ever met.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother, include his children, Travis Lee and FrancesRose Louise Rabenburg; his maternal grandparents, Rose and Larry Stencel; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Katie Christopher; his brother-in-law, Mitchell Christopher and sister-in-law, Julia Rose Christopher; and many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
