Sam Deloach Sam Raybon (born Larry Joe) DeLoach passed away on February 4, 2006, in Vanderbilt University Hospital following a liver transplant. Mr. DeLoach was born on June 17, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Raybon DeLoach Sr. and Audrey Hall DeLoach. He is survived by his cousins Barbara Holly of Montgomery and Fred DeLoach of Tuscaloosa, and by a host of friends who grieve his passing. Mr. DeLoach graduated from Shades Valley High School in Homewood, AL, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1977 as a medical assistant in the naval psychiatric hospital in Newport, RI. While in the Navy, he attended Salve Regina College, then completed his bachelor”s degree in nursing at Samford University. Mr.
