Meron “Sam” Bruce Huffer, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Haymarket, VA. He was born on July 22, 1930 in Staunton, VA to the late Guy Raymond and Nellie Virginia (Phillips) Huffer. Mr. Huffer was a U.S. Army Veteran and owner of Sam’s Coins Decoy’s store. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, golfing and watching Westerns. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Mary Croft; brother, Lawrence Huffer. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth Huffer; two children: Raymond Huffer and wife Sandra; and Cheryl Waddle and husband Greg; one brother: Lee Huffer; one sister: Lucille Reeves; and two grandchildren: Kristen Waddle and Charles Waddle.
