Salvatore J. Marino, 84 of Holiday Heights, section of Berkeley Township died on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Colonia, NJ before moving to Holiday Heights 20 years ago. Salvatore served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Salvatore graduated from Seton Hall University in Newark, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Angela Marino and his brother Joseph Marino. Surviving are his wife of 39 years Marie (nee Sanfilippo) Marino; his sisters Christine Jacoby of Cranford, NJ, Catherine Brzezinski of Bloomfield, NJ; nieces Joanne Jacoby, Diana Fortkiewicz, Deborah Korzeniowski, and his nephews Joseph, Robert, William and Thomas Marino.
