Sally Rivenbark Moody, age 86, passed away Friday morning at Goldsboro Assisted Living. Born in Pender County, she was the daughter of the late Timothy Alford, Jr. & Annie Jean Johnson Rivenbark. She was the wife of the late Major T. Moody, Sr. and was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Joe Moody (Tammy); her daughter, Cellie Balltzglier (Perry); step children, Ted Moody and Juanita Flores; sister, Marcie Davis; grandchildren, Charly Stevens, Jr., Mandi Stevens, Cierra Moody Sullivan, Justin Moody, Blake Stevens, Alan Moody, Jessica Moody, Michelle Lopez and Jamie Gregory, great grandchildren, Kenley, Riley, Jase, Landon, Colby, Devin, Carly, Lanie and Dewayne; 3 great great grandchildren.
