Sadie M. Leasure Jaquess Eller, 89, Anderson, passed away July 19, 2009 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after an extended illness. She was born March 14, 1920 and resided in Anderson most of her life. Sadie was a homemaker and had operated Norge Laundromats with her 1st husband, Jimmie. She also had worked at MCL Cafeteria. Sadie enjoyed her retirement and traveling with her 2nd husband, Bob. She was a member of the Solar Chapter Order of Eastern Star #604. Sadie enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, baking, reading, needlework, spending time with grandchildren, great grandchildren and her children.

She is survived by her children, DeAnna Faye Jaquess Smith Young Dr. Gary A. Smith Duncan Randy of Frankton, Michelle Ann Smith of Indiana, Melissa Thomas Curt Hendersonville, North Carolina, Brady Landon of Elwood, Keumars II Ahdich Theresa of Bothell, Washington, Kamran Ahdich of Muncie, Jason & Jordan Jaquess, Jeff Thomas Lisa of New Castle, Elisha & Matt Garrett of Tennessee, Jay Thomas Beatrice of Anderson, Lonnie Thomas of Anderson, Heath Brattain Karen of Indianapolis, Daniel & Derek, Jama, Kevin & Jill Jaquess; great grandchildren, Dominic Lamar, Malcolm Jamal Foster, Chris Harting Jr., DeAnna Faye Harting, Josephine Mary Harting, Kayla Grace Hall, Savannah Ann Neal, Carson Thomas, Haley Landon, Taner Landon, Monique & Ty Ahdich, Dorian, Michael, Hannah, Lathan, Sadie, Sienna, Cadean Thomas, Ashton & Saydee Shirley, Christian Summitt, Dane, Faith, Sidney, Jacob, Abby, Caroline Cameron, Chris, Lexi Houston Jaquess and Bella Garrett; several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends, Bob & Jean Graves.

A special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff at Rawlins House for their compassionate and loving care during her final days. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James “Jimmie” H. Jaquess; 2nd husband, Robert Eller; parents, Charles & Hattie Belle Leasure; sons, Jerry Michael Charla Jaquess; brothers, Aaron, Fred and Don Leasure; sisters, Geneva Lowe, Vivian Poore, Mildred Manlove and Mary Lou Unroe; granddaughter, Mija Summitt; grandson, Teddy Lee Landon and sons-in-law, Ted Landon and Charles Smith.
