Sabatino G. Pagano, age 82, is deceased as of December 7, 2020, of Washington Twp, New Jersey, formerly of Philadelphia. Beloved husband of the late Concetta Pagano. Father of Michael Pagano, Albert Campanella and Lisa Campanella-Hopkins. Also survived by grandchildren, Maria-Elena, Joanna, Anthony, and Stephen. As well as great granddaughter Naomi.
Sam was born and raised in South Philadelphia and graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1956. He had known his wife, Connie, since they were about ten years old. They got married at Our Lady of Loreta Church in 1963 and they were married for 57 loving years. Sam worked hard his whole life and was an amazing provider for his family. He worked for the Security Columbian Banknote Company for the majority of his career.
His grandchildren called him Poppy and he has made so many wonderful memories with them over the years that will never be forgotten. He has taught his family the meaning of unconditional love and the value of sacrifice. The last years of his life were spent at Spring Oaks Assisted Living in Vineland with his loving wife before her passing in April 2020. He missed Connie very much and his family has found peace knowing they are together at last. He was very loved by all who met him and he will be missed dearly. He will be forever loved and remembered in our hearts.
