Muncie- S. Lee Huffman, 82, passed away Thursday morning, March 27, 2014, at the Liberty Village Health Care Center following an extended illness. He was born on August 24, 1931, in Muncie, the son of Floyd M. and Marjorie (Denny) Huffman,
Mr. Huffman is a 1950 Muncie Central High School graduate and later attended Ball State University for a short period of time. He proudly served in the United States Air force. Lee married the love of his life, Barbara (Myers) Huffman on June 14, 1952 in Muncie.
Besides his wife Barbara of 62 years, he is survived by two sons, Rick Huffman (wife-Cindy) and Bruce David Huffman (wife-Belinda), both of Parker City; 4 grandchildren, Kyle Huffman (wife-Yuri), Idaho, Jared Huffman (wife-Kelly), Kettering, Ohio, Meghan Hurst, Parker City and Candice Kiser(husband-Brandon) Parker City; four great grandchildren, Brook, Gracie and Malin Kiser all of Parker City and Isabella Huffman, Idaho; 2 step grandchildren, Jeffrey Riggin and Jennifer Earhart; special friends, Chuck and Jenny Campbell, Greg and Lori Hug, Sue Hardin, Lois Eller and Zita Yeakle; several special neices and nephews; a special little companion, his dog, Toto.
Special thanks goes to the nursing staff on the Rosewood Wing of the Liberty Village Health Care Center and more particularly to a nurse named Shirley Troxell and doctors Bahrami and Shue who cared for him during this time of convalescents.
