Ruth Virginia Lashley Brown, age 92 of Voorhees, N.J., passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Kresson View Center in New Jersey. On September 14, 1919 in Powhatten Point, OH., Mrs. Brown was born to the late William B. and Minnie (Heckman) Lashley.
On July 3, 1940, Mrs. Brown married Chester L. Brown who preceded her in death July 1, 1977. She is survived by one daughter, Jorja (Nathaniel) Igbanol of Wilmington, DE.; one son, R. Douglas (Kathleen) Brown of Florida; grandchildren: Ryan Igbanol, Tara Igbanol, Kyle Brown, Cody Harrelson, Brittney Harrelson; and nieces and nephews: Duane Benton, Donald Benton, Dale Ramsay, Bill Ramsay, and Betty Knee. Mrs. Brown was also preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Benton and Velma Ramsay both of Savannah, OH.
