VANDE STREEK, Miss Ruth Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday afternoon April 24, 2009 in Grand Rapids, Ruth was born September 5, 1930 in Comstock, Michigan a daughter of Edward and Hattie Scholten VandeStreek. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Ferguson Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1993. Ruth was also a member of Second Christian Reformed Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and 4 brothers, Edward, Henry, Harold, Albert, and Bernard VandeStreek; and 3 sisters, Alberta Koetje, Alice Cleland, and Joanne Smith. She is survived by her guardian and niece, Patricia Wayne Feenstra of Grand Rapids; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
