Ruth V. Willitts (nee Everham) of Burlington, died suddenly Saturday, January 2nd, at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro, she was 50 years of age. Born in Riverside, NJ., on January 8, 1959, she has been a Burlington resident for many years.
Ruth had been employed as an office manager for the Florence Housing Authority. She had been a 13-year member of the Burlington City Board of Education, a member of the Parent Teacher’s Assoc., and past president of the BCHS Band Booster Club. A devoted family person, Ruth was very active in numerous school activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing needlepoint, dining out at different restaurants, and the time she spent “down the shore” at L.B.I.
Daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Everham, she is survived by her children and their spouses: George and Stefani Willitts of Burlington and Erica and Wayne Marshall, with whom she was living, also of Burlington, and her granddaughter, Hannah Marshall as well as many dear friends whom she considered family.
