Ruth U. Schlatter, 89, of West Lafayette died Monday, December 22, 2014 at IU Arnett Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1925, in Fairmount to the late Charles and Georgia Duling Brown. Ruth married J. Robert Schlatter in Fairmount on August 28, 1948 and he survives. She was active with the Lafayette Symphony Guild and the Joy in the morning Bible study group. Ruth enjoyed reading and was devoted to her family.
Surviving along with her husband are her children Mark A. Schlatter of Lafayette, Neal E. Schlatter of Montarra, CA, Sandra R. Stephens (Daniel G.) of Houston, TX, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
