Ruth Schnarr, 82, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Franciscan Health East.
She was born June 4, 1939, in Flint, MI, to the late Douglas and Dora (Nichols) Ross.
Ruth graduated from West Aurora High School, Aurora, IL in 1956.
On July 27, 1968, she married Cecil Schnarr in Aurora, IL. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2011.
She was a member of Lafayette Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
Surviving are two sons, Clifton (wife Cindy) Schnarr of Elwood, IL and Fred (wife Katie) Schnarr of Lafayette, and two daughters, Karla (husband Clay) Flad of Bakersfield, CA, and Serena Baker of Lafayette. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Whitnell Ross and a sister, Sarah Anzonetta Hatman
