Ruth (Read) LaCroix 94, died February 20, 2018 at the Veteran’s Home in Bristol. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence W. LaCroix. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Brown) Read. Ruth was a Registered Nurse and served in the US Army during WWII. She later worked as an RN in several capacities and retired as a School Nurse.
Ruth is survived by her son Lawrence and his wife Joyce of Providence, and three grandchildren, Eric, Greg, and Marc Tetreault. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Disley and siblings, William, Thomas, Harold, Squire, Horace, and Alfred Read, Gladys White, Violet Cummings, and Margaret Massey.
