Ruth M. Presser, 98, of Anderson, passed away on October 10, 2012 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus in Anderson. She was born on February 7, 1914 in Sidney, Ohio and resided most of her life in Anderson. Ruth graduated from Sidney High School in 1932.
She was a retired Typesetter for the Sidney Daily News in Sidney, OH. Ruth was also a Columnist for the Anderson Herald Bulletin, Anderson. Ruth was a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Anderson, enjoyed her book club and knitting.
Ruth is survived by her grandchildren, Deborah Lloyd of Anderson, and, Rebecca Lloyd of Anderson; brother, Richard J. Troester of Ohio; sister-in-law, Evelyn Presser of Ohio; and a great-grandson, Andrew M. Lloyd of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Presser; father, John G. Troester; mother, Lydia Whitmer Presser; brothers, Donald Troester and James Troester; and a daughter, Carol Young.
