Ruth Penney, age 94, died in her home in Highlands Ranch on January 21, 2022. Ruth started her career as a secretary in New York City where she met and married Charles Penney. Ruth and Charles had two children, Susan and John, and Ruth spent the next 15 years as a homemaker and loving mother. She then worked as an office administrator for interior designers until retirement.
Ruth and Charles became grandparents when they retired to Columbia, South Carolina, and spent the next many years caring for their grandchildren, Emma and Eric, when Susan had to work. In her later years, Ruth moved to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where she spent time with her son John and other grandchildren (Jonah, Justin, Baron and Cory).
Ruth will be remembered in a private ceremony by her family.
