“Ruth” Minerva Hibbs, age 84, of Clarksburg, WV passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at River Oaks of Clarksburg with her family by her side. She was born December 13, 1932 in Van Meter, PA; daughter of the late William Walker and Edna (Flex) Walker.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Hibbs of Clarksburg, WV; two sons, Charles Stevens Hibbs of Clarksburg, WV and Randy Hibbs & his wife, Michelle of Mt Clare, WV; five grandchildren, Natasha White, Michael Newell, Sr., Clifton J Newell, Joshua Searfass and Matthew Searfass; six great grandchildren; all of her furry grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Betty L. Hibbs; two sisters, Mary Dawson and Betty Shreves; three brothers, John Edward Walker, William Frank Walker and George Walker.
Ruth grew up in Glen Elk and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
