Ruth Fuhrman Milam, 90, formerly of the Moberly area died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the Strafford Care Center in Strafford, MO, where she had lived since May of 2009.
Ruth was born February 10, 1926 in Moberly, MO, to Elbert and Edna (Lusby) Fuhrman.
Ruth had worked as a cook at Moberly Area Community College and worked for the City of Moberly in the water office. She was an active member of the North Park Church of God.
She married Sewall Lowell Milam on April 6, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents and five siblings.
Survivors are her children Gary Milam and wife Karen of Elkland, MO, Connie Grimshaw and husband John of Columbia; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, other relatives and friends.
