Ruth Marjorie Suliot, age 85, of Salem, died at 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her home. She was born October 1, 1927 in Greenford, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Mary (Matuscak) Sox. She graduated from Greenford High School and before her marriage worked in the office at the AFL-CIO as a secretary. Ruth and her late husband, Eugene owned and operated the Suliot Farm Market for over 50 years. She was a member of the Greenford Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Salem Quota Club. She enjoyed swimming and was a member of the Aqua Bobbers Swimming Club at Highland Creek. Her husband, Eugene T. Suliot, whom she married November 17, 1951, preceded her in death May 23, 1990. A son, John T. Suliot; four sisters, Mary Bricker, Helen Gideon, Elizabeth Lippiatt and Pauline White; and two brothers, Edward and Joe Sox also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Larry E. Suliot and fiancé Connie Ganslein of Salem; a daughter, Diane E. (Larry) Tullis of Salem; a brother, John (Ginny) Sox of Salem; two sisters, Dorothy Baer and Vera Cain both of Salem; a grandson, Lance Tullis of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
