Ruth Marie (Yates) Green, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday March 25, 2016 in Greenwood.
Ruth was born April 6, 1957 in Indianapolis to Robert and Willie (Brumley) Yates.
She married John D. Green on June 27, 1975 in Indianapolis; they were married for 40 years.
Ruth was employed as an office manager for Hobby Lobby for 12 years.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Whiteland. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing.
Ruth was a collector of snowmen. She loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; John D. Green of Indianapolis, her mother, Willie (Brumley) Yates of Greenfield, four daughters; Kristy Green of Greenwood, Kayla (Daren) Kacsir and Kara (Derrick) Littleton both of Indianapolis, and Kelsi Green of Louisville, Kentucky, a sister; Carolyn (Jerry) Rankin of Greenwood, two brothers; Glendal Yates of Greenfield and Vernon (Debbie) Yates of Indianapolis and five grandchildren, Connor Newhart, Alex Castaneda, Autumn Castaneda, Flora Littleton and Deegan Littleton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Yates.
