Mrs. Ruth M. Boe, 75, of Ottawa, died June 11 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center.
Ruth was born January 1, 1935 in Ottawa to John and Marie (Ottosen) Charlier. She married John S. Boe, February 16, 1952 in Ottawa. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, and was also active in many of the churchs activities, including, teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and she was President of the churchs Friendship Circle. She worked for Rivershores Living Center and was a private duty nurse for many years. She was a hospice volunteer, a volunteer for AAL as secretary treasurer. She was treasurer and organizer for her 1953 Class Reunion.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Linda Marie Fox of Streator and Denise Annette (Steven) Kosnick, Fitchburg, WI; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter Cheryl Ann, one grandson Jon-Paul Fox and two brothers Ray and Jack. Pallbearers will be Josh, Jake, and Jordan Kosnick, Drake Fox, Austin Helffrich and Wayne Riebe.
