          Ruth graduated from Wheeling High School in Wheeling, West Virginia and later married the love of her life, Roland Brandau whom she met at the age of 3 years old, on March 7, 1952 in Wheeling. Mrs. Brandau had worked as a Secretary and Head Bank Teller at the Cherry Hill Bank where she retired in 1980. Mostly, she enjoyed being a Homemaker for her family.   Ruth enjoyed doing family activities with her children and grandchildren who called her Nana. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine, the Republican Voting League in New Jersey, Parent Teacher’s Association when her children were in school, the Rainbow and DeMolay organizations, the Bandar Grotto Auxiliary and most recently the Order of the Amaranth where she had held several Supreme Officer’s positions such as Grand Royal Matron and eventually was conferred the Emeritus Status. Mrs.

          Besides her husband of 60 years, Roland, she is survived by two daughters, Deb J. Crowley (husband-Ed), Norris, Tennessee and Linda Smith (husband-J. Burnett), Wilkinson, Indiana; one son, Rick Brandau (wife-Cyndi), Fishers, Indiana; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
