HENSON, RUTH Ruth Henson, 81, passed away February 15, 2011, at her family home.
Ruth was born September 4, 1929, to Sofie and Hermann Steil of Mannheim, Germany. Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
She married C.H. Henson September 18, 1954, in Mannheim, Germany, while he was completing a two year tour of duty in the U.S. Army.
The couple lived in Roswell from August 1958 to the present. Ruth worked for Safeway Grocery Store, owned and operated Hensons Bakery from 1972 to 1981, owned and operated Valley Auto Mart from 1982 to 1990 and went into retirement from 1990 to the present.
Ruth was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grand and greatgrand mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Hardgrave of Loveland, Colorado., and Brigette Morris of Broomfield, Colorado her son Larry Henson of Denver, Colorado her granddaughter Jennifer Benjamin of Springfield, Nebraska and her grandsons, Gregory Morris of Broomfield, Colorado and Jason Hardgrave of Loveland, Colorado and her greatgrandchildren, Natasha, Benjamin, and Emily and her sister in Canada.
