Ruth E. Eddy, age 92 years, of Plymouth, died Monday, February 24, 2020 at Plymouth Crossings. She was the wife of the late Joel W. Eddy, and the daughter of the late James Mason and Emily Eleanor (Hibbard) Logee. Born in Meriden, Connecticut on April 27, 1927, she lived in Woodstock Connecticut until she moved to Plymouth in 2014. Ruth worked as a teacher aid for the Woodstock public schools. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, cooking and preserving. Active in the East Woodstock Congregational Church, she was a Deaconess, historian, choir member and a member of the Ladies Benevolent will be missed by her son Daniel J. Eddy and his wife Betsy of New Hartford, CT and Dennis, MA, her daughter Deborah Herlihy and Mike of Plymouth, four grandchildren Madori Armenio, Tamreh Herlihy, Katie and Greg Eddy, as well as her great grandchildren, Anaia, Ella and Carter. She was the sister of James Mason Logee Jr., and the late Francis Logee, Albert Logee, and Marjorie James.
