Ruth Currie (nee Donnelly), 96, of Point Pleasant, NJ, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Point Pleasant. Ruth was a secretary for Clark Travel in Jersey City, retiring in 1969.
She was a member of St. Mary by the Sea Episcopal Church, Point Pleasant, and the St. Mary’s Society. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Sifton J. Currie, in 1993. She is survived by her goddaughters Susan Boyle of San Diego, CA, Maureen Pearce of Point Pleasant, NJ and her beloved dog, Isabella.
