Ruth S. Dickerson, 94, of Atlanta, died Friday, October 22, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert R. Dickerson and siblings Ruby Huey and James Stamps. She is survived by a son, J. Reed(Linda)Dickerson of Newnan, GA, two grandchildren, Clinton (Jill) Dickerson of Newnan, GA and Corey (Alex) Dickerson of Sharpsburg, GA. Four great grandchildren, Andrew, Rebekah, Cody and Logan Dickerson. Sister in law, Ann Stamps of Birmingham, AL. Nephews Johnnie (Linda) Huey of Bent Tree, GA and Roddie Stamps of Birmingham, AL, and niece Joy (Claude)Wood of Birmingham, AL. She was a retired secretary. She and her husband were active in the Presbyterian Church for many years.
