Mrs. Ruth Ernestine Davis, 77, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and servant of the Lord was gathered into His heavenly arms on Nov. 19, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Mae Comer, grandmother Myrtle Bañalla; grandsons, Damien Magaña and Nathan Jelks and her husband Orolon Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Dawnese Alayne Jelks (husband, Leonard) Spring, TX, Gevean Chrys Whitfield of Missouri City, TX and Lanore Marie Davis of Manteca, CA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; long time friend Joyce Pinkard and a host of friends and relatives.
The family wishes to thank Mound Guest Home, Rick and staff, the Public Guardian’s office, Assisted Home Hospice and Ventura Convalescent Hospital.
