Ruth Anne Boyd, age 78, of Battle Creek, died peacefully Saturday morning, February 29, 2020.
She was born October 27, 1941, in Takoma Park, Maryland, one of four daughters of Dale and Linnaea Perkins.
Ruth will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Steve Messecar of Battle Creek and Glenn Messecar of Arizona; two grandsons, Andrew Messecar, currently serving with the Peace Corps in Africa, and Christopher (wife, Hayley) Messecar of Battle Creek; three sisters, Karen Mitchell of Elkhart, Gail (husband, John) Lawrence of Battle Creek, Eva Cloud of Elkhart; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one husband, Lewis Boyd.
