Ruth Arlene VanHorn, age 94, of Cicero, IN died Friday, May 28, 2010 at her home. She was born July 19, 1915 at Lynch, Nebraska to Arthur and Mary Bertha (Evans) Holderman.
She was a graduate of Central High School at Ft. Wayne, IN and of Cincinnati, Bible College in 1939 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in ministry. She took graduate courses at the University of Cincinnati. She was a music teacher in the Gallatin County, Kentucky School System for 30 years. She had also worked for Judge Barr at the Hamilton County Court House. At age 74 she became a missionary to Jamaica and continued that work for 15 years.
