Russell Leonard Smith 92 of Burley, Idaho passed away Wednesday May 10, 2017 in Pocatello. Russell was born to Mabel and Leonard Smith on May 6, 1925 in Twin Falls Idaho. He was married to Dorothy Leona Horn in 1946 and later to Elda Harding on September 21, 1973. Russell moved from Twin Falls Idaho when he was 2 years old to Riverside City and graduated High School there. He joined the army in 1944 during 2nd world war and was there till 1946. He received 3 purple hearts.
He worked as a construction worker and a freezer manager for Simplot’s in Heyburn Idaho for 21 years.
