Russell Joseph Horner, age 65 died Friday May 27, 2011 in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Horner was born March 22, 1946 in Trenton, NJ to Olga (nee Tocchetti) and the late Russell H. Horner. Russell was raised in Burlington, NJ and was a graduate of Burlington High School.
He then earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. He was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1971 until his retirement in 2003. He had been assigned to the Milwaukee, Boston and Tampa offices.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda (nee Lucarine) Horner of Tampa, FL, his son Russell Brandon Horner and his wife Cara of Rumson, NJ, his daughter Jaye Lindsay Tomberg and her husband Ryan of Arlington, MA, His mother Olga (Laura) Horner of Vero Beach, FL, his siblings Barbara Fox Harris of Vero Beach, FL, Judy Stone of Vero Beach, FL, Dennis Horner of Burlington, NJ and Janis Lavender of Sicklerville, NJ. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Colombrina (Jerry) Lucarine of Burlington, NJ and his sister in law and brother in law Carol and Dominic Zulla of Burlington, NJ.
