Rumfil Thadeus Marszal, 77, of Meriden, husband of Marilyn (Smith) Marszal, passed on at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden on Monday, May 25th. Born in Meriden, he was the son of the late Francis and Agnes (Bednarz) Marszal.
Rumfil lived in Meriden all of his life, was a past member of PLAV of Meriden, and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Rumford Marszal of Meriden, Mark Sperry of Southington, and Thomas Sperry of Williamstown, VT; four daughters, Frances Gable, Elaine Natlo, both of Meriden, Paula Schoesler of E. Providence, RI and Katherine Midboe of Kinnelon, NJ; three sisters, Wanda Markwica, Irene Hasserjian, both of San Pedro, CA, and Vivian Taylor of Naples, FL; twenty-six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
