Mr. Rudolph Stenson, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Mr. Stenson was born on December 7, 1949, in Wimauma, Florida to the parentage of Melvin and Georgetter Stenson, Sr. He received his education in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from East Bay High School in Gibsonton, Florida. After graduation, Rudolph was drafted in the United States Army and went overseas to serve in the Vietnam War. Rudolph worked in construction as a Supervisor until he became ill a few years ago, and then he retired. Mrs. Annie Armstrong was Rudolph’s caregiver until his death.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Georgetter Stenson, Sr.; brothers, Leroy, Oliver, Melvin, Jr., and Alvin Stenson; and sister, Ada Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories, sister, Pastor Lula Stenson; brother, Sylvester Stenson; one sister-in-law, Marie Stenson; two sons, Allan Stenson and Rudolph Fletcher (Yvonne Reed); one daughter, Monica Stenson; four granddaughters, Tymira Stenson, Tanesha Stenson, Tatyan Riggs and Vivian Fletcher; seven grandsons, Anthony Boykins, Terrence Stenson, Torrence Stenson, Travis Boone, Josiah Smith, Allen Howard, and William Howard; three great-grandsons, Isiah Moorer, Rydell B. Dukes, Jr., and Noel Stenson-Bell; one first cousin, James Callier, Jr.; nieces, G. Mary Pasco, Annetta Scott, Shirley Stenson, Sandra Hartfield, Jacqueline Stenson, Lynetta Stenson, Sherri Stenson, Tiashemmer Stenson, Olivia Reed, and Erica King; nephews, Richard Scott, Abron Scott; and, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
