Rudolph J.Rinda of New Milford was 90 when he passed peacefully on February 17th. “Rudy” was born in Little Ferry, New Jersey and raised in Astoria, New York. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant. Rudy and his late wife Blanche raised their family in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, later settling in New Milford where they lived for many years. He spent his professional career with Monroe Systems for Business as a calculator and copier technician. After retiring, Rudy developed a passion for fishing, gardening, and trolleys. It was his love of trolleys that led him to become one of the founding members of the Shoreline Trolley Museum in Branford, Connecticut.

Rudy was predeceased by his late wife Blanche (nee Mika) in 1993. He leaves behind his wife Alice (nee Bauer) of the last 19 years. Rudy was the loving father of Robert Rinda and his wife Nancy and Richard Rinda and his wife Dorothy. Step father of Richard and wife Lorayne, and Eileen and her husband Steven. He was the devoted brother of Warren Rinda and his wife Vera. Rudy was the cherished grandfather of Todd, Christine, Keith, Stacie, and Katelyn. The adored great-grandfather of Colin, Brayden, Mila, Sawyer, and Kyleigh.
