Rudolph (Rudy) Brychel, resident of Littleton, CO, died on Wednesday May 4, 2022 at age 87. Born at home to parents Stanley and Jean Brychel in Hull, WI, Rudy attended high school at Don Bosco Catholic School in Milwaukee, WI, with his siblings Ralph, Arlene, and Duane. He studied botany at University of WI at Steven’s Point and joined the U.S. Navy on August 4, 1953 as an electronic technician. While stationed at the US Naval Academy in Bainbridge Maryland, he met his wife Rosemary (Rose) at a Fireman’s festival. They were married on September 3, 1955.
Rudy had a passion for his family and the great outdoors of Colorado. A farmer at heart, you could find him in his big backyard gardening in his overalls. Later in life, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Duane, his six children Denise, Skye, Rudy Jr, Patrick, Brad (Leroy), and Matt, plus five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
