Rudene Kimble Pitts, age 84, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in Newnan, GA on May 22, 1933, to the late Frank Kimble and Fannie Treadwell Kimble. Rudene spent many years working as a bookkeeper for Otis Jones Oil Co. She was a longtime member at First Baptist Church of Newnan. She cherished the time she spent with friends and family and will be dearly missed by so many.
Along with her parents, Rudene is preceded in death by her husband James Truett Pitts. She is survived by her children, Jane LaGuardia and her husband David, Susan Pitts Smith; grandchildren, Chelsea LaGuardia, Chloe LaGuardia, Jason Smith, Brian Smith and his wife Laura. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Benjamin Smith, Barron Smith and sister, Frances Reno.
