Ruby Yeager, 93, of Fortville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born June 5, 1919 in Clay City, IN to the late Pearson and Nettie (Long) Harbaugh. Ruby graduated from Clay City High School in 1937, and then she attended the Smart Appearance Beauty School in 1938-1939. Ruby owned her own beauty shop for nearly 40 years. She married her husband, Irwin Yeager on June 12, 1947. Ruby was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Fortville and a member of the Delta Kappa Sigma Sorority.

She is survived by daughters: Kristine A. Moore of Greenfield and Jacqueline (Reginald) Leisure of Knightstown; grandchildren, Amy (Matthew) Barnhart of Brownstownship, MI, Daniel (Isis) Moore of Indianapolis, Jon (Stephanie) Leisure of Greenfield, Jeremy(Crystal) Leisure of Knightstown, Reginald (Rochelle) Leisure, Jr. of Carthage, and Clinton (Amy) Leisure of Spring City, TN ; and great-grandchildren, Piper, Harper, Kellen, Lillith, Quintin, Kameron, Joshua, Makenna, Madison, Keira, Coltin, Ian, Ava, Kensington, Tyler, and Jordan. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Irwin G. Yeager in 1988; her parents, 3 sisters and son-in-law, Timothy Moore.
