Ruby P. Calice, age 74 of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday February 13, 2016 at Medilodge in Mt. Pleasant. The daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Rogers) Robertson was born on April 20, 1941 in Erin, TN and moved to Detroit at the age of ten. On July 12, 1959 she married Donald Crosby and he predeceased her on January12, 1986. Ruby worked in various manufacturing jobs for many years. In March of 1993 she married Michael Calice in Detroit and he predeceased her in October 2014. They later moved to Alma, MI where she was an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Ruby has resided in Midland and Mt. Pleasant area for the past five years to be nearer to her daughter. She enjoyed being with her family and was loved by all who knew her.
Ruby is survived by her son, Donald Crosby of Lincoln Park, MI.; daughters, Debra (Jaime) Tichenor of Detroit, Penny (Dominic) Piacentini of Sanford, Donna (Charles), Branagan of Adrian; 12 Grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, David Randall Robertson, Paul Robertson; sister Linda McIntosh. In addition to her parents and both husbands she was predeceased by one daughter Lisa Crosby.
