DURHAM Mrs. Ruby Morris Alford, 95, a former resident of St. Mary’s Road, Hillsborough, died on Monday, January 21, . Alford was born in Wake County to the late Leonard and Lillie Gargis Morris. She retired from the Westinghouse Meter Division in Raleigh. She was a member of North Durham Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson is survived by her son, Michael Rives Alford; two daughters, Aultney Cozart and Susan Carroll; one brother, Robert Morris; two sisters, Mary Davis and Irma Prevette; five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
