Ruby Lee Calicott, 100, of Columbia, formerly of Moberly, died Monday, October 31, 2016, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Ruby was born March 16, 1916, in Moberly to Ernest and Annie Lee (Roberts) Hill.
Ruby was a member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church, and prior to retirement had worked at numerous places in Moberly.
She married Rev. Wilbur Calicott on January 2, 1932, in Moberly, and he preceded her in death May 24, 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, William and Ronald; sisters, Gladys Leathers, Lucy Durham; and brothers William and Nelson Hill.
Survivors include her son Wilbur L. Calicott and wife Juanita of Columbia; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
