Ruby L Knotts Adams Peach, 84 of Kingwood, WV passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Heartland of Preston County with family by her side. She was born September 9, 1930, daughter of the late Cecil G and Effie Marie Plum Knotts. Ruby worked as a cook at Marrara’s Pizza Shop, Mary’s Restaurant and the Preston County School System as an aide. She was a member of the Campground United Methodist Church. She loved to do needle point, embroidery, cooking and gardening and spending time with her family. Ruby was survived by her second husband, George Thomas Peach; six children, Susan Virginia Hovatter and Robert, Evansville, Karen Sue Nantz, Kingwood, Barbara Jean Moury and Patrick, Tunnelton, Clyde Howard Adams Jr. and Rose Ann, Tunnelton, Brenda Lee Johnson and Tommy, Reedsville, Sandi Lynn McElroy, Kingwood; three step-children, Randy Teets, Kingwood, Mary Ann Bankhead and Brad, Bruceton, Timmy Holt and Jessica, Reedsville; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Daisy L Crane, Valley Point; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Howard Adams Sr., three sisters, Freda Erzen, Thelma Miller and Katherine Knotts; five brothers, Carl, Ted, Don, Bobby and Dale Knotts; one grandson, Donnie Nantz, one son-in-law, Donald Nantz.
