Muncie – Ruby L.

Ruby was born on November 9, 1932, in Beech Grove, the daughter of Cicero and Mary (Bryant) Collins, and attended Beech Grove schools. She was employed for a short time at Western Electric.

Mrs. Turner loved to golf, read, and dance, and was a member of the Women of the Moose. Ruby was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Crawley, (husband-Rickie), Muncie; two sons, Stephen Turner, (wife-Robin) Muncie, and Scott Turner, (wife-Lisa), Muncie; two granddaughters, Lisa Haza, (husband-Keith), Columbia City, and Brandy Turner, Muncie; a grandson, Calvin Turner, Muncie; a great granddaughter, Lily Haza, Columbia City; three sisters, Jeanette Daffron, Anderson, Loretta Miller, (husband-Mike), Fairland, and Betty Stricker, (husband-Walt), Westfield; a half sister, Robin Lane, (husband-Brad), Indianapolis; three brothers, Glen Collins, (wife-Nancy), Indianapolis, Bob Collins, (wife-Carolyn), Indianapolis, and Donald Collins, (wife-Janet), Indianapolis; a sister-in-law, Jean Filson, Ridgeville; and a brother-in-law, Robert Turner, Muncie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 34 years, Calvin E. Turner; a sister, Eva Fritch; and a brother, Cicero “Junior” Collins.
