Ruby Kathern Poling
Ruby Kathern Poling, 91, of Kingwood, went home to be with her Savior Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Pine Ridge with family by her side.
She was born May 25, 1926, in Albright, the daughter of the late Ira Joseph and Bertha Viola Virginia Titchenell Moats.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and homemaker. She was a caretaker for her family members, loved to quilt, crochet, garden, read her bible, listen to and sing hymns. She was a devout Christian who found solace in her faith and held her ministerial license though she never practiced.
She is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Gary Poling; three sons, Leonard Moats and wife, Cathy of Kingwood, Roger Moats and wife, Pattie of White House ,PA and David Moats and wife Debbie of Keyser; four daughters, Jeniffer Graham and husband Roy Watkins of Kingwood, Shirley Moats and husband Lonnie of Rowlesburg, Martha Smith of Ocala, FL and Rose Brown and husband Duane of Pinellas, FL; her sister, Opal Smouse of Kingwood, 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Leonard Moats, her sisters, Lillie Edmund, Lucille Wilson and Tiny Moats and her son-in-law, Glenn Smith.
