Ruben Silverio Gomez
Roy- Ruben Silverio Gomez passed away of complications from a brain aneurysm, on January 1st, 2014, he was born August 18th, 1975 in Ogden Utah to Dario Gomez and Bonita Gonzales. Ruben graduated from Ben Lomond High; he was very active as an officer in the student council. He then attended Weber State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Ruben had a son from a previous marriage, Ruben Alejandro Gomez; September 10th, 1996. He married Ralee Florence Cope, the love of his life, on October 12th, 2002.
Ruben will be remembered for his intelligence and patience, and his enjoyment of cooking and reading. He was known for his unique insight of life and subtle strength. Ruben was very quick to pick up new and fun hobbies, loved music, and he was always a kid at heart, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Ralee Gomez; his son Ruben A. Gomez; Mother, Bonita Warrick; Mother-in-law, Velvet Cope and many close extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dario Gomez; Step-father, Rick Warrick; Grandparents; Father-in-law, Richard Cope; Aunt Laura and his Uncles, Eddie and Donnie.
