Rubart Daniel Self, 53, of Middletown, husband of the late Florene (Bandy) Self, passed away on Thursday, June 11th at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. Born on March 29th, 1956 in Hemingway, SC he was the son of the late Rufus and Irene (Blow) Self. Rubart lived in Middletown most of his life and was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for over 30 years as a machinist. He is survived by a daughter, LaPamela Self of Middletown ; three brothers Willie James Blow of Hemingway, SC; Rufus Self, Jr. of Middletown; and Samuel Self of Hemingway, SC; two sisters, Mabel Sowell of Orangeburg, SC; and Annie Ruth Anderson of Hemingway, SC; a grandchild Asonte Rubin Self and a host of nieces and nephews. Extended family member Roxanne Ready of Middletown and a host of friends.
