Roy T. Neese, 72, of Brighton, passed away on July 29, 2012. He was born February 19, 1940 in Sidney, MT to Roy and Dorothy (Harris) Neese. He graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served from 1958-1962. He married Arlene Durland on March 7, 1972 in Brighton.
Roy spent his youth and younger years in Savage and Sidney, Montana and moved to Colorado in the early 1970’s. He drove semi-trucks for Curtis Incorporated for many years and also drove for Sam Hill Oil and Baumgartner Trucking for several years until he retired in 2000.
Roy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Arlene, of Brighton; son, Duane (Shellie) Neese of Keenesburg; brother, Don (Rosa) Neese of Miles City, MT and three grandchildren, Zac Lenard and Mason and Marina Neese.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Crissy in 2006.
